What We Do
Find qualified capacity.
Verify the people behind the wheel.
Make that capacity available.
Our role is straightforward: find qualified capacity, verify the people behind the wheel, and help make that capacity available to the military freight TSPs that need it. We work with carriers ranging from small owner-operators and fleets to larger nationwide transportation companies.
Dry Vans
Enclosed trailers for palletized and general military freight across DoD installations.
Refrigerated Trailers
Temperature-controlled capacity for DLA subsistence and Prime Vendor food freight.
Flatbeds
Open trailers for oversized, heavy, and out-of-gauge military equipment.
Straight / Box Trucks
Local and short-haul base-to-base distribution runs.
Sprinter Vans
Expedited, small-load, and time-sensitive military courier runs.
Hot Shots
Class 3–5 gooseneck rigs for time-critical mid-size military loads.
Power Only
Tractor-only service for drop-and-hook military freight movements.
Specialized Equipment
Stepdeck, RGN, lowboy, and conestoga for specialized military freight.
Driver Verification & Continuous Monitoring
Security and driver legitimacy are central to our network.
Vetted & Background Checked
Drivers participating in our network are vetted and background checked before being entrusted with military freight.
Verification Is Not One-Time
Participating drivers remain subject to continuous monitoring, because information identified through a background check can change after the initial verification.
Who Is Actually Behind the Wheel?
This ongoing process helps our partners know more about who is arriving to take custody of freight.
Initial verification gets a driver into the network. Continuous monitoring helps keep the driver in the network — so our TSP and logistics partners have a more secure, qualified source of transportation capacity.
No Contract or Subscription Required
Participation is straightforward.
No long-term contract or subscription is required to join our sourcing network.
We maintain a pool of qualified carriers and verified, monitored drivers ready when our partners need capacity. Joining does not guarantee freight, loads, lanes, volume, or contracts — MilitaryFreight.com is a sourcing and readiness resource connecting qualified capacity with participating military freight TSPs.
Supporting Department of Defense Transportation
Connecting carrier, driver, TSP & Prime Vendor.
DoD Transportation Service Providers (TSPs)
We source carrier capacity for military freight TSPs responsible for moving Department of Defense freight.
Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Freight
We work with the Prime Vendor supporting DLA logistics requirements to source carriers and verify drivers for nationwide freight needs.
Rather than telling carriers simply to "go find military freight," MilitaryFreight.com is building the infrastructure between the carrier, driver, TSP, and Prime Vendor necessary to make qualified capacity easier to identify and deploy.
Military Driver Requirements
Every driver entering the pool must meet all four.
U.S. Citizen
Drivers must be U.S. citizens. Green card holders (Lawful Permanent Residents) are accepted for DLA food & beverage loads.
No Felonies
A clean criminal record is required — no felony convictions. Every driver passes a verified background check before base access.
English Proficient
Drivers must be English-language proficient (verified) for base access and tender communication.
Safety Plan
Your carrier must have a safety plan in place. MFC can review, enhance, or build one for you.
Every driver must also hold a valid CDL with a clean or explainable driving record, be enrolled in a drug & alcohol testing program, and complete military-specific training. When you apply, you'll provide each driver's name, CDL number (last 4), issuing state, phone, and domiciled state.
Some locations accept green card holders. Please ask when you apply.
Our Standard
Military freight involves more than finding an available truck.
